FIRST PAID Gets It!
Since most of the items I am selling are One Timers (sold and gone) obviously, I would not be able to provide TWO 1952 WIDGETS, if by chance two Buyers (for argument’s sake) at the same exact moment purchased the ONLY 1952 WIDGET I have. In a case like this, the only fair way to handle this situation would be: The FIRST PAYMENT RECEIVED would be the new owner of the WIDGET.

RESERVE ITEMS
If a buyer notifies me that they will be making payment by Check or Money Order, I will put their items on RESERVE for a maximum of 14 days. This will allow time for the payment to be sent, and in the case of a Check, time for it to clear their bank. If after 14 days, payment has not been received and there has been no communication from the Buyer stating why, items will either be put "back on the shelf" for sale to another Buyer or offered to another interested Buyer.

At the time an item is put on RESERVE - the item will remain in the store, but across the picture of the item will be the word "RESERVED". Anyone who would like to buy this item and "just missed it" should email me with the Item Name and Stock Number and I will notify them with an "IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY" Offer if the original sale is not completed within 14 days.

IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY Offer
When you see that an item has been RESERVED, but you would be interested in it, if for some reason the sale is not completed within the 14 day timeframe, please email me with the Item Name and Stock Number. Then, if the original Buyer does not follow through, I will notify you with an email titled "IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY" Offer from Sunshine’s Stuff.

You will then have 7 days to accept or decline this item. The item will remain RESERVED during this time. This process will continue until the item finds it’s new owner. Interested Buyers will be contacted in the same order that they emailed me. As we know, from experiences on EBAY, there are times that the original Buyer does not, or cannot, complete the sale, so there is always the chance you may get the item that you missed out on the first time!

RETURNS
Returns are not expected, as I try to be upfront and honest about the items I am offering for sale. However, if you are dissatisfied with any item, for any reason, I would appreciate it if you let me know. I would want the opportunity to try to solve whatever problem you might have, if possible.

REFUNDS
The only reason we should need to be concerned with Refunds would be if the item is Grossly Misrepresented. I don’t do this so it should never be an issue.

PRICES
If there's something that you want and you feel I'm totally "out there" on the price, please email me with a reasonable offer. My purpose in doing this is to find a home for these items, not to keep them to myself. I have inherited, acquired or accumulated way more than I have space for, and I would rather you have the item at a REASONABLE price that we agree upon, and know that you will be able to make use of it, than to have to keep moving it out of my way.

INVENTORY
Most of the items I have are going to be just the one, but then you will also find that there are certain things I have in quantity.

You can easily check the current inventory quantities, with the INVENTORY Link on the top left of every page. Sometimes when I am putting in items, and I don't know exactly how many I have, I'll start with one and add others as soon as I can verify I have more. So check back periodically, or email me, if you see something you want more than one of.

SHIPPING - In General
Shipping Weight of that one item and the Charge are noted at the end of every item description. I am human and sometimes I do make a mistake. So, if for some reason at Check Out, the shipping seems to give you an outrageous amount, please email me to verify, as I might possibly have made an error (e-gads!)

HOWEVER: The more you buy, the more you save. Basically, the charge is $4.00 for the first pound, and $2.00 for each additional pound. Now there are exceptions to this (like books – they can go Media Mail) and very lightweight items that can go First Class.

Remember you can ship six items for just a little more than the cost to ship one item! (You won't pay for each item in a separate box, so there is a significant savings when multiple items are combined into one box. Plus each additional pound costs about 1/2 of the first pound!)

I ship twice each week: Tuesday & Thursday
If you need your item to be shipped immediately, please contact me and I will do my best to accommodate.

Please let me know if your purchase is being delivered to a business address.

SHIPPING SPECIALS
In addition, I offer several types of different shipping Specials on some items – FREE SHIP!, SHIPPING INCLUDED, FLAT RATE SHIPPING and these items will be marked as such in the item descriptions. You can also refer to the SPECIALS link on the top left of every page, for more details on this.

COMBINED SHIPPING - Auction and Store Purchases
Also, I will gladly combine shipping with all items purchased from my STORE and from my AUCTIONS, provided payment is made at the same time for all items. I WILL NEED TO SEND YOU A COMBINED INVOICE, PLEASE DO NOT USE CHECKOUT (at eBay, iOffer or at this site)!

If you want to make a purchase from the store AND the auction or from iOffer, simply let me know and I will send you one combined invoice.

INSURANCE - Your Choice
I am not responsible for the package once it has left my hands. Insurance is highly recommended, but it is your option.

PLEASE NOTE: Unless you have requested a particular Shipping Service, I am never sure which carrier I will be using until I know the buyers zip and the final size and weight of the package. Since you have already paid for your purchase, at this point, the amount paid is set. To eliminate any possible misunderstandings: If I ship your package through a carrier that happens to automatically provide insurance up to $100, please do not expect a refund of your $1.30. There are times that I will be "out of pocket" on shipping charges - for example, if you got free shipping items that caused the scales to tip into the next pound, it may cost me more than you paid. By the same token, there are carriers that charge separately for insurance and if I ship your package through them, this additional expense must also be paid. I don't have the time, and you probably don't either, to keep up with who got the $1.30. I figure it will all come out in the wash anyway. If you opt to pay for insurance, your package will be insured - and that's what really matters!

DAMAGED MERCHANDISE - Claims for Insured Items
We take great care in packaging your purchases. There should not be a problem with it arriving safely unless there was complete negligence on the part of the Shipping Carrier, which in rare cases does happen.

In the event that this occurs, I will file the appropriate claim (as the Shipper, on your behalf), but ask that you work with me in a timely fashion, providing necessary information concerning the package (and it’s condition when received), as required by the Carrier. Any money that is recovered in the Claim process will be refunded to you, up to the maximum of the amount you paid for the item, including insurance and shipping costs. I would not want my Buyers to be out any money for a product that they received unusable so I will make every attempt to recover the money for you.

FEEDBACK
I welcome your feedback and appreciate your comments, good, bad or otherwise. The idea is to make this store a place where you want to spend your time and money.

If you have any suggestions for improvements, ideas that would make the store better, more "user friendly", etc. I welcome your input.

Unlike ebay's system, I don't have a way to leave you feedback on your purchase, but if you need a reference, or if you have a store where I could post comments, I will be more than happy to oblige. Just let me know.

LOCAL BUYERS - PICK UP AND PAY
For my Locals: Obviously there is no shipping charge for you to worry about, but I would appreciate it if you would schedule a pick up time with me allowing a minimum 24 hour notice.

This way I can assure that all of your items will be at the shop, and prevent any inconvenience. This will also allow me to verify that there will be no conflict with shop business, especially during our busy season.

If you are planning on paying by cash or check, just add items to your cart, then copy and paste them in an email to me. You will NOT NEED TO PROCEED THROUGH CHECKOUT! (Honestly, it saves me a little on the fees!) I will then have your printed email as your invoice when you come to get your goodies!
